As a member of our consultant team, this Project Support Engineer will provide significant task management support for a newly awarded/expedited Integrated Fleet and Facilities Plan for a key client. You will be required to provide full-time, local support for this high profile 6 month engagement. Responsibilities will include task focused project controls, documentation management, and other related project management support. The individual will also provide documentation and data support to field inspection teams on this expedited activity. The individual will also provide support preparing client required briefings, invoices and recurring reports for presentation internally and to the client.
Various tasks, responsibilities and contributions:
Set up and maintain project controls approach and documentation management system for project effort
Develop and complete recurring summary reports and monthly invoicing efforts
Support designated field inspection teams, including data compilation / analysis and database management
Participate in and prepare minutes for meetings / interviews with client and industry subject matter experts
Manage / coordinate timely completion of sub-task deliverables
Support both office and field based activities, including technology assessments, fleet and facility evaluation efforts, and report development
Track project status (including finances) and prepare periodic project progress reports
Direct client contact on project matters

BS in an Engineering discipline
3-5 years engineering and project support / project management experience
Ability to demonstrate good communications skills, detail oriented and ability to work independently are essential
Ability to demonstrate a strong capability with Microsoft Excel for use in generation of internal and client reports
Ability to demonstrate experience with project controls, scheduling and progress reporting
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
