CH2M have a growing business in major transit programs and we are strengthening our existing Quality Management team on major rail transit programs. The Quality Compliance Professional is responsible for developing and implementing effective quality control for a key area of the program through processes, procedures, training, control measures, customer feedback mechanisms, corrective and preventive action, assessment, documentation and audit, measurement and analysis, and continuous improvement.
The incumbent has deep knowledge of multiple subject areas or disciplines; thorough understanding of business objectives, priorities and strategy for own area; understands industry practices and competitors; and has thorough understanding of client and contract requirements. He/she uses communication and negotiation skills to guide, influence and convince others, and interacts with multiple departments, local offices or regions. This role participates as an active member in local organizations and committees as well as participating in seminars, training activities and presentations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
With coordination, liaison, and integration with the Program Compliance team:
Integrating and coordinating in the continued development of the programs Quality Management System (QMS);
Developing QA/QC processes and procedures aligning with the ISO 9001 requirements;
Integrate in the continued development of the programs Quality Management Plan;
Performing, coordinating and maintaining Quality Compliance Audits program;
Conducting and/or assisting in Quality Compliance audits (Internal and second party);
Producing Audit Reports and identifying auditsâ?? findings;
Follow-up on corrective actions and root cause analysis;
Producing, tracking and managing non conformances identified from Quality audits within (Contract Management System);
Participate in defining program Quality metrics and KPIs;
Review Consultants and Contractorsâ?? Quality Management Plans (QMP) and provide feed-back;
Maintaining documentation of Compliance activities;
Providing support to the Senior Management team in specialist knowledge of the ISO 9001 regulations and requirements;
Assisting in quality awareness training.
Work with multiple Program, Project and contractor stakeholders
Develop a collaborative approach across all teams to encourage improvements in quality performance
Project Delivery Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements
Comprehensive understanding of Quality Management Systems
Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience
Experienced in the auditing knowledge and skills of ISO 19011
Job Specifications & Scope of Responsibility:
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
BS degree, certificate from technical program, or commensurate and relevant experience.
ISO 9000 Auditor/Lead Auditor certificate.
- 6 to 12 yearsâ?? experience preferred.
