Huitt-Zollars' Seattle, WA office is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to manage and design highway and transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls, culverts, foundations, and other structures. SE will also develop plans, specification and quantities; prepare engineering calculations and reports; and Quality Control checks and services during construction. SE will work with multidiscipline team on multiple projects. Qualifications: * Must be a Registered Structural Engineer in the State of Washington * Must have at least 10 years' experience as Structural Engineer SPECIAL TRAINING OR SKILLS: * Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) structures experience (bridges and walls). * Experience with the WSDOT Bridge Design Manual (LRFD) and AASHTO manuals is required. * Experience with both concrete and steel structures is desirable. Transit structures experience is desirable. * Candidate should have experience in managing design projects and directing a structural engineering team. * Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
