Datamars is seeking an experienced SALES MANAGER for its Textile Identification business.  

This remote position should ideally be in the Eastern region of the United States.  Significant travel is expected in the geographic area.

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Manager will sell and promote Datamars Textile Identification products by maximizing direct and distribution sales into the RFID Industrial Laundry market, understanding customer use cases, product needs, and competitive threats, help prioritize feature enhancements and new product development, build and nurture a network of partners supporting solution sales, and grow overall market share.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Drive product revenues through direct relationships in the textile marketplace
• Gather, synthesize, and communicate a superior knowledge of customer needs
• Understanding of competitive landscape, threats, and opportunities
• Train, motivate, and enable partners to successfully represent our product and solution
• Successfully sell our products to identified accounts; meet or exceed monthly unit and revenue goals
• Initiate, follow-up on and keep track of sales activities

KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Strong leadership and consensus building skills
• Proven ability to sell at executive level
• Proven ability to implement and manage multiple ongoing sales initiatives
• Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills
• Strong presentation skills.
• Extensive travel with evening work required; must be able to travel up to 50% of time worked.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of five years of successful territory sales in the industrial laundry marketplace or analogous
• Technical sales experience required
• Textile industry market or related field knowledge required
• Territory development and management experience
• CSM experience required
