Telecommuting is allowed.

Our Detroit office is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join the structural department.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project structural engineering team
  • Analysis and design of various building framing and foundation systems in structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry
  • Development of construction documents including drawings, and specifications; meeting the scheduled project issue dates
  • Collaborating and coordinating with other disciplines
  • Construction administration including shop drawing review and responding to construction questions
  • Assist in developing proposals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10 years of relevant project experience
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer
  • Revit Structural experienced
  • RISA 3D analysis software experienced
  • Project leadership skills
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team setting with overtime as required
