Requirements
Required Education and Experience for all Levels (I, II, or III)
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Valid Driver's License
Additional Requirements by Level (I, II, or III)
Engineer I
Validated EIT Certification
Engineer II
Validated EIT Certification
State of Kansas Professional Engineering (PE) license or PE license in another state with ability to obtain a State of Kansas PE license within six months of employment
Four years of design and/or project management experience of construction projects
Engineer III
State of Kansas Professional Engineering (PE) license or PE license in another state with ability to obtain a State of Kansas PE license within six months of employment
Seven years of design and project management experience of construction projects
