Starting Salary Ranges DOQ:

• Engineer I:       $59,550.40 - $74,443.20 / annualized
• Engineer II:     $66,705.60 - 83,387.20 / annualized
• Engineer III:    $83,657.60 - 104,582.40 / annualized

Requirements

Required Education and Experience for all Levels (I, II, or III)

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Valid Driver's License

Additional Requirements by Level (I, II, or III)

Engineer I

• Validated EIT Certification

Engineer II

• Validated EIT Certification
• State of Kansas Professional Engineering (PE) license or PE license in another state with ability to obtain a State of Kansas PE license within six months of employment
• Four years of design and/or project management experience of construction projects

Engineer III

• State of Kansas Professional Engineering (PE) license or PE license in another state with ability to obtain a State of Kansas PE license within six months of employment
• Seven years of design and project management experience of construction projects

Preferred Education and Experience for all Levels (I, II, or III)

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
