Job Summary:

Structural Bridge Engineer to provide high level Project Management Oversight (PMO) on transit agency bridge rehabilitation program comprised of a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) of over a billion dollars for bridge and tunnel design, construction, and rehabilitation.  The Project Management Oversight Contractor (PMOC) includes only the bridge projects that are receiving federal funding. 

Responsibilities

• Provide high level Project Management Oversight (PMO) on transit agency bridge rehabilitation projects
• Provide management capacity reviews, design review workshop report
• Prepare and implement risk analysis workshops, schedule and budget reviews, and associated reporting
• Work with clients to resolve business and policy issues

• Active Professional (PE) license
• Preferably in Connecticut or Massachusetts
• 5-12 years of experience with major capital transit projects
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Engineer of Record
• Movable Bridge experience is a plus
• Must possess good writing and reporting skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with high level program managers, project managers and agency officials.
