The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for an Assistant Director of Program Support for Facilities Management (Adm).
Purpose of the Position: This is consultative, administrative, and technical work assisting the Director of Planning Design and Construction in developing, implementing, managing, and assessing processes and analyzing data to support planning and project management and ensure compliance with protocols, standards, regulations, statutes, and reporting.
The Assistant Director of Program Support is responsible for developing, implementing analyzing, assessing, and managing processes and data to support planning and project management for the Facilities Planning Design and Construction unit. The Assistant Director manages project planning, design, and construction activities, ensures implementation of project management standards and protocols, analyzes project schedules, budgets, and designer and contractor utilization including minority business participation compliance with regulatory requirements and statutes, and oversees document management.
Salary: Range $92,591 - $103,000
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in the engineering discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience Some positions may require licensure by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Architecture, or Engineering, or Bachelor’s with equivalent experience.
Architectural (AIA), or Professional Engineer (PE) registration in North Carolina.
