The School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) at Gonzaga University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, or tenured faculty position at the level of Associate or Full Professor beginning Fall 2024. The successful applicant will lead SEAS' new Department of Biomedical Engineering as its founding chair and will be responsible for implementing its new undergraduate degree program beginning Fall 2024. Aside from managing the department, administrative duties will include refining the curriculum, hiring faculty to build the department, arranging and managing faculty joint appointments with other Gonzaga departments, both within and outside SEAS, guiding the program through ABET-accreditation, and other administrative duties as required.
