The incumbent is responsible for the development, implementation, recommendation, reporting, and maintenance of the insurance portfolio for all District assets (nuclear and non-nuclear) including coordination within the District to ensure cost effective, accurate and timely application and insurance coverage renewals.  Incumbent is responsible for processing and negotiating claims on behalf of the District in conjunction with the Manager of Enterprise Risk and the District’s contracted claims administrators.   The incumbent acts as the intermediary between the District and the insurance industry to remain current on industry trends and events and is responsible for analyzing and recommending to management potential changes and impacts to the District insurance portfolio
