The City of Tucson is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as the Deputy Director of Transportation and Mobility. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our city’s transportation infrastructure and mobility solutions.
As the Deputy Director of Transportation and Mobility, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative transportation policies and programs. You will work closely with the Director of Transportation and Mobility to oversee departmental operations, manage projects, and ensure alignment with the city’s transportation goals and objectives.
This position will be filled as a Transportation Administrator on assignment to Deputy Director and will be given assignment pay, no less than 10%, (this is an indefinite term assignment and salary depends on experience and qualifications). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Professional Engineering License (PE) within the state of Arizona Experience in Capital Improvement project delivery Experience with Transit planning Master Degree in Engineering, Planning, Public Administration or related field.
