Engineer IV
$5,000 Signing Bonus*The Department of Public Works and Environmental Services (DPWES) Wastewater Management agency is seeking a wastewater engineer to manage the revised Sewer Reimbursement Policy. When an existing sewer line cannot handle the flows from a proposed development, the sewer line is required to be enlarged to handle the flows from the existing customers, the future customers from the proposed development and any future customers based on the Comprehensive Plan. Developers are responsible for upsizing the sanitary sewer and are then reimbursed by the county for a portion of the project cost. Under supervision of the Engineer V, this position will lead the reimbursement efforts from agreement development through construction completion.
