The Biology Department at Missouri State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year 2025-26 with a commitment to inclusive teaching practices and increasing student diversity and retention. +
Primary responsibilities include teaching lectures and labs in genetics, molecular techniques, and an additional course, such as bioinformatics or a course in the candidate's primary area of research expertise. The expected teaching load per semester is 12 contact hours. Additional duties may include undergraduate academic advising and departmental service. The salary is $65-67K per year.
