Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) serves 560,000 customers, encompassing most of Contra Costa County. The County is home to one of California’s most ethnically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse populations with one of the fastest growing workforces among Bay Area counties. Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager, Engineering & Construction, serves as the District’s Chief Engineer and oversees a team of 38 staff. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to guide one of the District’s most significant capital investments – the Main Canal Replacement Program – along with other capital projects in the 10-year CIP.
