Since 1977, the Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) has served the Fairfax County community by enhancing mobility, safety, and the quality of life of residents, businesses, and visitors through planning, coordinating, funding, implementing, and sustaining a multimodal transportation system. FCDOT is seeking a versatile professional with an over-arching interest in advancing equity and transportation to serve as the department’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Manager. As the DEI subject matter expert and primary resource on racial and social equity, this position works with FCDOT leadership to support the department’s current and future transportation initiatives by incorporating equity into all facets of the FCDOT’s policies, practices, programs, and processes.
