								<description>New Brunswick, New Jersey,  The  National Transit Institute  (NTI), at  Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey , seeks to hire an Operations &#38; Training Delivery Manager. 
 The Operations &#38; Training Delivery Manager is responsible for the operational planning, scheduling, enrollment management, and logistical execution of NTI &#8216;s nationwide training programs and learning initiatives. This position ensures that all webinars, in-person courses, virtual courses, workshops, and related training events are scheduled, staffed, tracked, and delivered in alignment with NTI&#8217;s established annual work plan. Among the key duties of this position are the following: 
 
 Oversees course lifecycle management from scheduling through attendance tracking, course completion, and certificate issuance. 
 Maintains accurate training data. 
 Monitors enrollment performance. 
 Increases course participation. 
 Develops host agency partnerships nationwide. 
 Ensures all logistical and instructor assignment processes are properly executed. 
 Supervises staff responsible for training logistics and scheduling system administration. 
 Works closely with instructional leadership to ensure seamless training delivery. 
 
 The National Transit Institute (NTI) was established under the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 to develop, promote, and deliver training and educational programs for the public transit industry.&#xa0;NTI&#xa0;identifies needs and promotes, develops, and delivers high-quality training programs and instructional materials through cooperative partnerships with the federal government, the transit industry, educational institutions, and related associations.&#xa0; Minimum Education and Experience 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Transportation, Planning, Public Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education/training and relevant advanced professional experience. Master&#8217;s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Transportation, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferred. PMP or comparable professional/project management certification preferred. 
 Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in programming or project management. Experience supporting federally funded grants or cooperative agreements. Experience managing multi-agency or cross-functional initiatives; &#xa0;reporting and compliance requirements related to federal funding; coordinating national-level industry meetings or conferences; and knowledge of public transit workforce development programs and industry operations preferred. 
 At least 2&#8211;3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience and demonstrated experience managing complex projects with strict deadlines.

 Oversees instructional staff providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development. 
 Develops and oversees project timelines, coordinate resources, and ensure deliverables meet quality and compliance standards. 
 Evaluates course effectiveness using established metrics, LMS data, participant feedback, and performance outcomes. 
 Supports the selection, implementation, and ongoing coordination of a Learning Management System (LMS) as NTI expands its digital learning infrastructure. 
 Balances program execution with strong supervisory leadership to ensure instructional excellence and continuous improvement.

 At least five (5) years of professional experience within or in partnership with the public transit industry, including demonstrated experience in training, education, or instructional environments. Experience supporting or implementing federally funded training or workforce development programs and certification in virtual facilitation/online teaching methodologies a plus. 
 At least 2&#8211;3 years of supervisory experience managing instructors or professional staff.
