Mechanical Engineer-PV and Heat Exchangers - Perform designs and calculations per ASME code and TEMA using CodeCalc, PV Elite, Compress, and NozzlePro for design of heat exchangers/pressure vessels. Utilize HTRI Xchanger Suite for heat exchanger thermal design and SolidWorks Simulation for FEA analysis. Design separated-head closure hairpin exchangers and air-cooled exchangers and weld-assembly and structural components for heat exchangers and pressure vessels per ASME Sec. VIII, ASME Sec. II and WRC. Create 2D AutoCAD fabrication drawings as well as 3D [CAD/CAM] models using SolidWorks for fabrication. Create bill of materials using M2M and communicate with shop to ensure fabrication complies with engineering design. Job located on southside Indy.
