Assistant/Associate Professor – Agricultural Sensing and Internet-of-Things Systems
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks a faculty member at the assistant or associate professor level in Agricultural Sensing and Internet-of-Things (IoT) Systems. Food is a universal need and computing is playing an ever-increasing role in all aspects of food creation and consumption. Successfully impacting the food chain will require measurement of characteristics of plants and animals. Seed-to-table/calf-to-table sensing and data analysis can capture and correlate data over time and space to improve the safety of the food supply, enhance end-user satisfaction, and improve the efficiency of the food supply chain.
